The 39 RR unit of the Army celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with civilians at the Line Of Control (LoC) at Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir. Prayers were offered for better relations of the army with the civilians at the border. I’m thankful for the civilians and the army here. Peace has been maintained in this area. Sarpanch of Poonch, Mansoor Aman said that this is not the first time the army is celebrating with the civilians. He has been the Sarpanch for four years and every year celebrations take place irrespective of religion and namaz is offered.
