Well, the reality is that you will always use the hypothesis method but you need to adjust it depending on whether or not you have background knowledge about the client or sector.

In this video we show you just the very first step to develop hypotheses, but off decision trees. This video explains why using hypotheses without decision trees will fail, or at the very least lead to very strange findings if you are new to sector/client.
