24 July 2003: An album titled "HISTORY OF LOGIC SYSTEM" was released, this contained the first commercial render of VOCALOID vocals (later known to be MEIKO and KAITO).

A compilation of songs Hideki Matsutake made in the 80s as Logic System (except for Tracks 18 and 19, which were newly recorded). Track 18, "あの素晴らしい愛をもう一度", is the first song to ever utilize Vocaloid.


[VOCALOID heritage] That wonderful love is one of the songs included in the best album "History Of Logic System" of "Logic System" (Hideki Matsutake) released on July 24, 2003, and even LOLA has not been released yet. This song uses the prototype VOCALOID from VOCALOID as the main vocal.
Currently, major releases of CDs sung by Hatsune Miku and VOCALOID and collaborations with professionals are not uncommon, but the first VOCALOID song recorded on the major CD seems to be this song that goes back to before the official release.
It is a VOCALOID male and female duet that covers the famous song "That wonderful love again", and the male voice is heard by Naoto Fuuga and the female voice is heard by Meiko Haigou, so it may be the singing voice of the prototypes "KAITO" and "MEIKO". KAITO & MEIKO, who had already been duet since this time, and "Okra P", whose image was inspired by the content of the song, have also created a PV work
with the theme of two prototypes .

2003年7月24日に発売された「Logic System」(松武秀樹)のベストアルバム「History Of Logic System」収録の一曲で、まだLOLAすら発売されていない時期のプロトタイプVOCALOIDをメインボーカルに使用した曲です。
現在、初音ミクやVOCALOIDが歌うCDのメジャー発売やプロとのコラボは珍しくなくなっていますが、メジャーCDに収録された最初のVOCALOID曲は正式発売前にまで遡るこの曲になるようです。
名曲「あの素晴らしい愛をもう一度」をカバーしたVOCALOID男女デュエットで、男声は風雅なおとさん、女声は拝郷メイコさんに聞こえるので、プロトタイプの「KAITO」と「MEIKO」の歌声なのかも知れません。
このころからすでにデュエットしていたKAITO＆MEIKOと歌の内容にイメージを刺激された「オクラP」によって、プロトタイプの二人をテーマにしたPV作品も作られています。

･2月26日　『VOCALOID』を発表(YAMAHA)｡ヤマハのニュースリリースのアーカイブ｢歌声合成ソフトウェア『ヴォーカロイドVOCALOID』を開発-3月に「ムジークメッセ」(独）、「AES」(蘭)などで発表-｣､DTMマガジンの記事､ascii24(現ASCII.jp)の記事｡当時ニュースリリースで公開された歌声サンプル3曲中｢Kimi no uwasa/男性のソロボーカル(プロトタイプKAITO?)｣と｢さらさら雪景色/コーラスの小品｣は現在｢VOCALOIDサンプル音｣にて公開｡もう1曲は｢Amazing Grace/英語の合成サンプル｣｡
･2月27日　DTM＠2ch掲示板において｢【歌】ヤマハ歌声合成ソフト『VOCALOID』【声】｣スレッドが開始｡以降現在までVOCALOIDスレッドが存続｡YouTube＠2ch掲示板のスレッドが開始するまでは2ちゃんねるにおける主要スレッドであった｡

ABOUT PRODUCER:
Hideki Matsutake (born August 12, 1951 in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan) is a Japanese composer, arranger, and computer programmer. He is known for his pioneering work in electronic music and particularly music programming, as the assistant of Isao Tomita during the early 1970s and as the "fourth member" of the band Yellow Magic Orchestra during the late 1970s to early 1980s.
Through his participation in the session recording of Ryuichi Sakamoto's 1978 album Thousand Knives, he joined the recordings of Yellow Magic Orchestra during 1978-1982 as their sound programmer, to become known as "the fourth member" of the group. In 1981, he formed a unit of his own under the name Logic System, which released its latest album in 2008. He also continued to take part in solo activities by YMO members such as Haruomi Hosono and Yukihiro Takahashi beyond the group's breakup in 1983. He was also a member of the video game music group Akihabara Electric Circus in 1988 and composed music for the 1996 video game Guardian Heroes. Today, Matsutake is also Chairman of Japan Synthesizer Programmers Association (JSPA).
