A UN prosecutor at The Hague outlined a grim litany of murder and torture charges against a Bosnian Serb on Tuesday (7/5), the opening day of the first international war crimes case since the Nuremberg and Tokyo trials half a century ago. Dusan "Dusko" Tadic, 40, listened attentively as the prosecution described in graphic detail how he allegedly murdered, tortured and persecuted non-Serbs in detention camps in northern Bosnia in 1992. In Kozarac, northern Bosnia, friends and relatives gathered in the Tadic family's bar to watch the opening of the trial on television.
