Professor Dominic Rowe is Professor of Neurology at Macquarie University Australian School of Advanced Medicine and he is the chairman of the Motor Neurone Disease Research Institute of Australia. His research is focused on the mechanisms involved in Parkinson's disease and Motor Neurone Disease.

Professor Rowe is also the founder and director of Macquarie Neurology and MND Service at Macquarie University and was named a Member (AM) in the General division of the Order of Australia in 2012 for his service to neurology and for his tireless work on Motor Neurone Disease.

To serve people living with MND, Professor Rowe has set up a multi-disciplinary MND service at Macquarie University. The MND Service at Macquarie University accepts referrals from all geographical areas, including rural and remote areas.
