After 8 years, Tattletail is still the best mascot horror game, and in this video essay, I am going to be talking about why.

Tattletail was released December 28, 2016. The release of Tattletail changed the mascot horror genre forever. From it's gameplay, to it's story, everything about this game was done just right.

Tattletail, is a story-driven first person horror game. You play as a kid on the week of Christmas. Too excited to wait, you open your gift early and it's Tattletail. You two are having fun, that is until Mama shows up. Make sure to not make any noise otherwise Mama will find you. Did I forget to mention that Tattletail will also make noise.
