Panasonic AW-UE150 - The Most Versatile PTZ Camera Yet

Our SoCal Rentals host, Tim Hunten explains Panasonic’s latest high-quality 4K 60p, HDR (HLG) supported PTZ camera. The AW-UE150. Equipped with a variety of interfaces and supports simultaneous 4K/HD outputs, the versatility allows capturing of high-quality video for production in broadcast, live events, house of worship, television, unscripted and featured films.

The AW-UE150 incorporates a 1-inch large MOS sensor and 20X optical zoom, along with seamless Intelligent Zoom (iZoom) enabling ultra-high resolution 32x zoom in HD mode and 24x zoom in 4K mode. A wide range of outputs are supported: 12G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HDMI, IP and even Optical Fiber output. The AW-UE150 features a large tally light for more effective on-air indication where needed, as well as modern, bold new design.

The camera’s settings and other options can be controlled from a computer over an IP network or via mobile devices. A single AW-RP150 Touchscreen Remote Camera Controller can control up to 200 cameras, while a single AW-UE150 can be controlled from as many as five different AW-RP150 camera controllers.

The AW-RP150 camera controller itself has a seven-inch LCD touchscreen for monitoring and changing menu settings, along with a new one-hand operation joystick controlling PTZ or Focus. Scenes files and other settings can be saved to an SD card and copied to multiple cameras reducing set-up time.
