How to Make your Painting POP HD 1080p

How do you add the POP to a pastel painting? How can you make the painting sing at the end? It starts at the beginning and using the right pastels to get more complex layering is key. In this demo I paint my favorite Queen Anne’s Lace and I share with you my layering technique. This demo is helpful for pastel artists of all levels of experience!

4. Sennelier half stick soft pastels Paris set
5. Blair very low odor workable fixative
6. Black foam core support board with black artist tape hinges to attach paper
7. The underpainting was done with Derwent Inktense sticks and water
