Yemen-based Houthis targeted the Liberian-flagged ship MV Groton in the Gulf of Aden. According to the UK Maritime Trade Operations Centre (UKMTO), two missiles exploded near the vessel. However, the ship crew is safe and proceeding to the next port of call. The Houthis have attacked the ship for the second time in a month. On August 3, two missiles were fired at the vessel, causing minor damage.
