Turned out most of my Frametime spikes can be fixed with Windows 8

Hey guys,

as you know, I have massive problems with frametime spikes in Battlefield V and 1 and I checked every possible cause to fix it. I swapped out the GPU, the mainboard, the RAM, the PSU and also reinstalled Windows 10.
However, I did not try a different operating system. So I decided to take a spare SSD and install a fresh Windows 8(.1) on it.
After setting up the system, I checked how Battlefield V and 1 run on the Windows 8.1 system. And it turned out to be MUCH smoother. While there are still occasional frametime spikes (especially during the respawn animations), the overall frametime graph is way more consistent. I did not notice frametime spikes higher than 35ms and gameplay overall felt much better. Flying in particular is finally enjoyable.

I made some quick gameplay videos and I hope you can see the differences.

Some more information:
Windows 8.1 is freshly installed on an SSD
Windows 10 is relatively freshly installed (2-3 months) on an M2 SSD
I tried to keep the number of background programs as low as possible on both SSDs

My rig:
i7 8700k (stock speed)
16 GBs of DDR4 RAM (clocked @3600Mhz)
Games are installed on HDD
MSI Z370 A Pro (Mainboard)
RTX2080 Zotac
SSD (Windows 8), M2 SSD (Windows 10)
