主は羊飼い、私には何も欠けることがない。
主は私を青草の原に休ませ
憩いの水のほとりに伴い
魂を生き返らせてくださる。

主は御名にふさわしく
わたしを正しい道に導かれる。
死の陰の谷を行く時も
わたしは災いを恐れない。
あなたが私と共にいてくださる。
あなたの鞭、あなたの杖
それが私を力づける。

私を苦しめる者を前にしても
あなたは私に食卓を整えてくださる。
私の頭に香油を注ぎ
私の酒ずきを溢れさせてくださる。

命あるかぎり
恵みと慈しみはいつも私を追う。
主は家に私は帰り
生涯、そこにとどまるであろう。

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul:
He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil
For thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
Thou anoints my head with oil; my cup’s overflowing
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
