Netflix initially defended the movie 'Cuties' after criticism over the promotional posters featured children in sexually provocative poses. They claimed the poster wasn't indicative of the content in the film. The content in the film ended up being markedly worse, sparking even more criticism from people who saw a clip being shared on social media, which featured a disturbing sequence of young girls dancing in a sexually suggestive manner.
