Katie Henry plays the first 3 songs of her set almost seamlessly one after the other - that was the reason to create this portrait a little differently. It's a treat to listen to her well-trained, powerful voice and to watch her enchanting way of performing. Watch out - soon Katie will be involved on a different level.

And Katie's joining Ruf Records was a really good choice! One can see it as recognition of her achievement that she was chosen to present the label's 30th anniversary on a tour lasting several weeks together with Bernard Allison and Ally Venable.
