How to Apply This Model Correctly (Practical Checklist)
This video shares general business concepts. If you decide to apply this model, use this checklist to keep your store transparent, customer-safe, and resistant to disputes/chargebacks:
1. *Product clarity (no ambiguity)*
List accurate specs: size, material, compatibility, what’s included, condition, warranty (if any).
Use truthful images; if you use supplier photos, don’t imply they’re your own.
Avoid vague, unprovable claims (or clearly define them).
2. *Price clarity (no surprises)*
Show the full, final price and clearly disclose extra costs (shipping/handling/taxes/customs if applicable) before checkout.
3. *Delivery honesty (promise only what you can meet)*
Publish realistic shipping timelines.
Don’t take orders unless you have a reasonable basis you can ship on time (or within the default window if no time is stated).
If delays happen, notify customers and give clear options: agree to wait or cancel for a prompt refund.
4. *Don’t “confirm” orders you can’t fulfill*
Verify supplier stock and shipping capability before treating the order as confirmed.
If you’re unsure, label it as pending confirmation until secured
5. *Returns / refunds / defects process (must be clear)*
Publish a clear policy: time window, conditions, steps, and who pays return shipping.
Make “defective / not as described” resolutions easy—**you’re responsible to the customer**, even if a third party fulfills.
6. *No misleading marketing*
Put required disclosures where people will actually notice them (not buried).
Avoid “guaranteed profit” or typical-results claims that aren’t true for most customers.
7. *Accountability & support*
Provide a real support channel (email/DM/helpdesk) + expected response time.
Share tracking when available and proactively update customers on delays.
8. *Customer data transparency*
Collect only what you need, explain what you collect and why, and keep privacy info clear and easy to understand.
