Phenomenal LINUX Powers! (Teeny Little Command Line Magic)

Escalating privilege is something system administrators do on any system, Linux or not. But in Linux, there are a couple different ways to do it, and in this video, we learn them both.

Whether you go directly to root level with the "su" command, or you fancy the more flexible "sudo" method, root level access is only a password away. But... whose password?!?

We're also going to look at:
- /etc/password
- /etc/shadow
- group files
- and a handful of other tools to look at UIDs and GIDs on a Linux system.
