After an incredible off-road adventure through breathtaking landscapes, we’re taking a well-deserved rest day at Kardjisay Village, nestled at the banks of Kyrgyzstan’s largest and third-largest lake.

We caught up on our rest and in the afternoon, we ventured into the enchanting Fairy Tale Canyon.

Known locally as Skazka Canyon, this surreal and vibrant rock formation is straight out of a fairy tale. After exploring the majestic mountain ranges, the canyon’s landscape offers a completely different natural experience.

As we wandered through the canyon, we were mesmerized by the stunning colors of the rocks, particularly the deep reds that seemed to glow under the sun. It was an experience like no other.

One of the highlights of my visit was the exhilarating climb up a slippery slope. It was a bit challenging, but the reward was worth it. From the top, we were treated to a breathtaking panoramic view of the canyon, with its red rocks shimmering in the sunlight. Standing amidst this untouched and unique landscape was truly unforgettable.

In the evening, we spent our time relaxing on the beautiful beach of Issyk Kul Lake. It was a perfect way to end our day.
