John Deere F1145 Mowing Overgrown Backyard

The grass has been growing like crazy this summer with all the rain we have been having here in Pennsylvania! I shot this video the second week of August after returning home from vacation down the shore. The lawn had gone two weeks without being cut and was about 7-8” in some places.

I thought it would be a good way to show the F1145 working in its mowing clothes. I had to run over the thicker areas a few times. I'm running standard blades in the video and next time it gets this tall, I may throw on the set of gators I have sitting in my garage for it. Although the standard blades cut well for the most part, the gators mulch the grass into much smaller clippings. I then went back over it with my lawn sweeper afterwards.
