A Gyűrű elvesztése után Szauronnak hosszú időbe telt visszanyernie erejét. Árnyéka apránként rátelepedett a Bakacsinerdőre, míg a Sötétség szolgái Középfölde-szerte mozgolódni kezdtek. Felemelkedett Angmar Királysága, felébredt Durin veszte, és elesett Minas Ithil. Akadtak azonban jópáran, akik igyekeztek gátat szabni uralmának...👁
