The Potensic Atom 4k drone has 3 axis gimbal stabilization, high quality 4k footage, is a subject tracking drone, 6km video transmission range, up to 32 minutes of flight time, level 5 wind resistance and auto return to home (RTH).

As a sub-250 gram drone, it’s very portable and so is a great light drone for travel too.

Is the Potensic Atom a good drone? Yes! It’s very comparable with DJI drones, particularly the DJi Mini 4k. But should you buy the DJI Mini 4k or Potensic Atom? They’re both very similar, though the DJI Mini 4k has a 10km video transmission range though isn’t a subject tracking drone. Overall, I think that the Potensic Atom is one of the best DJI alternatives in 2025. The Potensic Atom is also a cheaper DJI alternative, so if you’re looking for a total beginner drone or one of the best drones under 300.
