This is my Pelican Catch 110HD Kayak with a Watersnake T24 trolling motor. This is my first test on the water. The Trolling motor was modified by shortening the shaft and it's mounted on a home made fixture that fits in the peddle drive opening. Top speed was approx 4mph. Low speed was 2.5 mph. The Watersnake draws 9 amps on low and 20 on high. I use a 32 ah AGM battery that weights 23lbs. The motor with the mounting fixtures weighs 5.8 lbs.
