Autumn Harvest Braised Rice with Chestnuts and Sausage

Ingredients:
Chestnuts
Chinese sausage
Mushrooms
Carrot
Chopped green onions
Oil
Light soy sauce
First Extract Soy Sauce
Oyster sauce
White sugar
Rice
Water/Mushroom Water

Instructions:

1. Slice the Chinese sausage, dice the carrot, and julienne the mushrooms. Set them aside.
2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped green onions until fragrant.
3. Add the Chinese sausage and carrots, stir-fry until well mixed.
4. Add the chestnuts and mushrooms, continue stir-frying, then stir in the rice.
5. Season with light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, and a small amount of sugar (adjust seasonings to taste).
6. Pour in enough water to cover the rice. For enhanced flavor, you can use the water from soaking the mushrooms. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and cook for 15 minutes. Turn off the heat and let it sit, covered, for an additional 5 minutes before serving.
