Turn An Old Riding Mower Into An ATV? Meet the M.U.T.T-2 This thing is so much fun!

One of the very first videos I ever put on this channel showed off my original mower conversion. It was a Dynamark 12/38 converted to a "Mud mower" or as I called them "The Poor Man's ATV". I used that little thing around the farm for 4 years and always planned to finish it up, but over last winter it finally gave out.
This is the new Multi Use Tactical Tractor, or M.U.T.T-2 for short. It has been modified and upgraded in many ways that I will show in future videos.

A short list of those mods.
Fresh O.D. green paint with markings.
Tuned and cleaned engine. New spark plug, Air filter and oil.
Upgraded LED headlights
ATV rear tires and Snow plow front tires
Pulley swap. From a 9 inch rear to a 4 inch rear. Top speed is now 14mph.
Custom dual muffler quiet exhaust.
Gas pedal for throttle
Wooden dump bed, hold up to 250lbs
Craftsman sleeve hitch

This thing is super fun, but it's also super useful. In first gear it's a crawler. I can use it to haul firewood, tools, feed, what ever.
In 3rd gear its a perfect speedy way to cross the property. checking fences, critters, and the trees.
In 5th gear? In 5th I'm back in my 20's racing all over the place popping wheelies and loving every second of it.

The best part of al this is the cost. A beat up ATV would have run about $600 and then another $200 to make it right. This thing has cost less than $200 With the tires and exhaust being the big expenses. The rest was just hard work and tinkering.
I urge just about every homesteader to consider making a M.U.T.T for their own farm!
