China has released two reports in a week to share findings of its site investigations on environmental issues in the South China Sea. One of the reports claims the area around the Scarborough Shoal – that it controls in the disputed South China Sea - is of excellent environmental quality. This comes as tensions have escalated following skirmishes with the Philippines in recent months. With Beijing and Manila accusing each other of causing damage to coral reefs in the South China Sea, CNA's East Asia Tonight examines where the ongoing dispute between these two powers is headed.
