Getting from the Airport to the Hotels ✈️🫶🏻🚤
Airport pick up organised via Get Your Guide however you can also get the Water bus Alilaguna.
The ticket has a cost of 15€ per person/way.

If you want to book by yourself, the water taxis are in the same place where the Alilaguna shuttle boats stand. You will find the taxi rank by following the signs at the airport.
The water taxi from airport Marco Polo in Venice costs around Eur 140. We paid £62 for the x2 of us for the group Get Your Guide water taxi.

Coffee & 🥐 (morning walk spots around 15-30 min walks to get to but worth it for the views, the coffee and spots!
- Torrefazione Canareggio (8am-1pm Mon-Friday) we went everyday for breakfast and coffee! (They also did soya yogurt as an option)
- Sulla Luna (library and little foodie spot) (9am open)
- Serra Dei Giardini Coffee Shop (10-8pm)

Activities to do 📍
- Ride and experience being in a Gondola! We didn’t pre book as friends told us it’s easy on arrival which it was 🚤 costs depends on timing, if you are going in alone or with a group and where you get it from. It’s about €80 for half an hour, or €100 after 7pm. we walked to a less busy spot and did after 7pm from Basilica Di Santa Maria it was so special 🫶🏻 it’s also around €38-€78 if you pre book online too. TIP 📍 if you liked to experience riding a Gondola on a budget you can get the ferry Gondola across for €2 or a €7 one from Libreria Acqua Alta.
- Visit Rialto Bridge - going early is a good idea as it’s gets super busy but a lovely spot to take in the views 🚤
- Visit Liberia Acque library 📚
- Visit Bacaro Jazz Bar - super fun atmosphere

Activities to do 📍
- Opera at La Fenice Opera House 🎶
- Day trip to Burano Murano 📍🚤 £20 to get there! 💓 beautiful place to explore with all the colourful houses & famous for its Glass Making ☀️ (you can also book tours for this on Get Your Guide)
- Visit Doges Palace - we booked this on Get Your Guide for day tickets with any entry between 9-6pm
- Head to T Fondaco Dei Tedeschi by DFS (shopping mall) rooftop for free rooftop views 🌁 book online in advance though!
- Do a pasta & Tiramisu making class! (Getyourguide)
- Cannaregio and Dorsoduro more “local” areas with less crowds
