संतोष देशमुख हत्या प्रकरणात मुंडे यांचे निकटवर्तीय वाल्मिक कराड यांचे नाव आल्यानंतर मुंडे यांच्या राजीनाम्याची मागणी पुढं आली या मागणीने चांगलाच जोर धरला आहे. दरम्यान, एकीकडे वाल्मिक कराडला कठोरातील कठोर शिक्षा व्हावी अशी मागणी केली जात असताना आता शिवसेना (ठाकरे गट) पक्षाचे नेते संजय राऊत यांनी एक फोटो पोस्ट करून खळबळ उडवून दिली आहे. हा फोटो पोस्ट करत मस्साजोगचे ग्रामस्थ अत्यंत दहशतीत आहेत, जनता अगतिक झाली आहे, असा दावा त्यांनी केलाय. एक तर वाल्मिक कराड यांचे धनंजय मुंडे यांच्याशी जवळचे संबध आहेत ..... हा काही कुणी केलेला आरोप नाही, स्वत: मुंडे यांनीच हे कबूल केलेलं आहे ...... मग संशयित आरोपीला राजाश्रय नाही असं कसं म्हणायचं ? कराड आणि मुंडे यांचे संबंध उघड आहेत पण आणखी कुणाकुणाशी या संशयित आरोपीचे संबंध आहेत ? मुंडे यांच्यासोबतचे काही फोटो समाज माध्यमावर फिरत आहेत पण आता संजय राउत यांनी एक फोटो सार्वजनिक करून खळबळ उडवून दिली आहे, राजकीय वर्तुळात या एका फोटोची मोठी चर्चा तर सुरु आहेच पण आता आरोपीची निष्पक्ष चौकशी कशी होणार ? देशमुख कुटुंबाला न्याय कसा मिळणार ? असे प्रश्न उभे राहिले आहेत ..... ज्या वाल्मिक कराड यांच्या प्रकरणाने महाराष्ट्र हादरून गेला आहे, त्या कराडचा फोटो मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस, उप मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे आणि अजित पवार यांच्यासोबतही आहे ..... असा एक फोटो संजय राउत यांनी सार्वजनिक केला आहे ....... हा फोटो पाहून तुम्हालाही धक्का बसेल ..... संजय राऊत यांनी एक्स या समाजमाध्यमावर हा फोटो पोस्ट केला आहे. या फोटोमध्ये मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस तसेच दोन्ही उपमुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे आणि अजित पवार हे बसलेले दिसत आहेत. संतोष देशमुख यांच्या खुनाचा आरोप असलेला वाल्मिक कराड हादेखील या फोटोमध्ये उभा असलेला दिसतोय. विशेष म्हणजे वाल्मिक कराडच्या बाजूलाच धनंजय मुंडे उभे असलेले दिसत आहेत. या फोटोवर 21 ऑगस्ट 2024 रोजीची असे प्रिंट झालेले दिसत आहे. म्हणजे हा फोटो फार काही जुना नाही केवळ चार महिन्यापूर्वीचाच आहे.
