#Música, a semi-autobiographical romcom written, directed, and starring Rudy Mancuso tells the story of Rudy (Mancuso), a young man with Brazilian roots living in New Jersey. Struggling with synesthesia, a phenomenon in which one has an inexplicable blending of senses such as tasting colors or seeing sounds, Rudy is constantly distracted as his mind turns everyday sounds into rhythmic beats. Soon, his torture is compounded when his heart is tugged by three different women: his ex, his new love interest, and his meddling mom (portrayed by Mancuso’s real-life mother, Maria Mancuso) in this pulsating coming-of-age love story.
