This 5.1.2 Soundcheck (Surround + Height) — Eclipsa Audio & IAMF Test for Soundbars without Dolby is a 3D audio and spatial audio validation file built to test real 5.1.2 surround sound with height channels using the Eclipsa Audio format and IAMF audio decoding.

This demo focuses on a true 5.1.2 surround sound test configuration: five ear-level speakers, one LFE, and two height channels. It is designed for systems that support immersive layouts such as Atmos 5.1.2 speakers, but implemented here through Eclipsa Audio as an open alternative to Dolby Atmos.

Use this 5.1.2 test to verify:

Front, center and surround channel routing
Subwoofer (LFE) integration (but seems to be an issue with IAMF on YouTube)
Height speaker output (front height or in-ceiling 5.1.2 surround)
Surround speakers height alignment
Accurate spatial positioning without virtual upmixing

Many browsers will downmix to stereo. For proper 5.1.2 surround playback, use the YouTube app on supported hardware or play locally in IAMF-enabled VLC.

No music. No cinematic mix. No artificial stereo expansion. Just clean positional surround plus height channel identification for technical validation.
