Fujitsu Thermostat: Activate sensor reading

In this video we will explain how to configure the Fujitsu AC unit so the Airzone Eco-Adapt algorithm works correctly.
To do this, the “switching function of the room temperature sensor” must be enabled. Without this, the system will only work with maximum and minimum temperatures and won't permit the use of the Airzone system's Eco-Adapt algorithm.
To configure this function, follow the following procedure:
1. Press and hold the “ECONOMY” button. A key will appear on the screen if the AC unit does not have this parameter configured.

2. Access the settings menu by pressing the “SET TEMP” and “FAN” buttons at the same time. Using the time setting buttons, navigate to position 42 on the menu: the “switching function of the room temperature sensor”, and using the “SET TEMP” buttons, set it at 01. To save the new settings, press and hold “TIMER SET” until the values on the display stop flashing.

3. Next, change menu function number 48 to position 01 to use the temperature sensor on your AC unit's remote controller, and save the configuration.

4. Switch off the indoor unit’s power and switch it on again. Press “ECONOMY” again, and the icon that corresponds to the function will appear, confirming that the change has been made.
Lastly, to ensure that the configuration is not lost, for example, in the case of a power outage, open your thermostat and locate the DS1 microswitch. Set PIN number 6 in the ON position.
