Rock Pool Earrings - Bezelling an 8mm Crystal

Описание к видео Rock Pool Earrings - Bezelling an 8mm Crystal

The title given to these earrings was chosen by a couple of member in my 'beading tribe' - and the colours I used were so reminiscent of my days growing up living alongside the coast - it had to be! Obviously, you might well choose to make your earrings in a different colour and they'll be 'fantasy rock pools'!

I take you through bezelling a 8.3mm crystal / stone, using peyote stitch and then we zhoosh it up by embellishing the sides and adding in a beautiful drop, elongating the style of earring.

Materials used:
2 x 8mm Rivolis - or cabachons or chatons (Pacific Opal)
2 x Glass Drops - you could add a tassel, another motif, a different bead - get creative and make it your own!
3mm Crystal Bicones (22 in total) - Crystal Capri Gold
11/0 Delicas - DB2131 - Duracoat Opaque Eucalyptus
11/0 Seed Beads - Miyuki Cream Lined Aqua
15/0 Seed Beads - Sparkle Light Bronze Lined Crystal
2 x Earwires
beading thread
beading needle
scissors/zapper

As always, I'd love to see your own version if you give this one a go, ESPECIALLY if you've created fantasy rock pools in the most amazing colour ways - so please either tag me in a post or post a picture to my facebook page.
