I finally gave her kitchen a MAKEOVER, andddd I think it DOES fit the bill ! Hai na, aap log kya bolte ho ?

So iss project mein bahot saare chote chote upgrades the -

➡️ Backsplash Tiles: Existing tiles pe maine pattern draw karke chalk paints fill kar diya. Will it peel off ? NO because I sealed it with lacquer. Can it get dirty due to oil splashes ? YES, so near the stove area I covered the paint with additional transparent film so that it runs longer 👍🏻

➡️ Dishwasher: Hume aisa lagta hai that dishwashers aren’t meant for Indian Kitchen but trust me THEY ARE ! Not only they clean oily greasy masale wale bartan🍴efficiently but also save a good amount of water compared to manual dish washing ✨

➡️ Spice Rack : So I upcycled wine bottles into storage jars (lemme know if you need a tutorial video on Cutting Glass Bottles) Added a cork lid, made lil birdies 🐥 with mouldit clay, gold dusted them and perched with glue.

➡️ Wooden Flooring : You get easy to install LVP (luxury vinyl planks) wo lagaya maine. Light on pocket and gives very real look & feel of wood.

➡️ Moroccan Peel & Stick Tiles : I wanted to offset the sink area slightly from everything else but in the same palette. So mujhe ye Amazon pe mile and they look super durable to me.

➡️ Strip Light : Just for that additional ambient lighting, you should go for strip lights below your drawers. Sirf peel and stick karna hota hai with a plug point 🔌

➡️ Additional Essentials: Got lot of suction hooks from IKEA for storing utilities, few ceramic plates as wall decor, a magnetic board for her kitchen knives and more.

Toh kuch aise humara NEW KITCHEN ho jata hai ready 👨‍🍳
