As you can guess, I really like the sequencer on the ESQ-1 now. It's grown on me and I have no problem with that. Here I'm just playing between the notes and having fun as always.

The Ensoniq ESQ1 Digital Wave Synthesizer is a hybrid 8bit digital synth with analog filters. The more I think about it I'm finding that it's the bitrate of this synth that allows it to be such a chameleon. It can create sounds that actually sound like samples from vinyl! I was and still am considering getting a DSI PRO2 but the versatility of the ESQ1 is minimizing my reason for getting another synthesiser.
