SA IYONG MGA YAPAK (cover by Sing For Him octet Batch 2)

I can still remember the first time I sang this beautiful song. It was my time in the Aup Ambassadors where I enjoyed learning a lot of acapella church songs and honestly "Sa Iyong Mga Yapak" was one of them. Fast forward Im also blessed that I was able to sing this with my batchmates in the Philippine Madrigal Singers. There's something very special with the text that was used from this bible verse..

1 Pedro 2:21

Ito ay sapagkat tinawag kayo sa ganitong bagay. Si Cristo man ay naghirap alang-alang sa atin at nag-iwan sa atin ng halimbawa upang kayo ay sumunod sa kaniyang mga yapak.

The way Sir Samuel Guerrero also arranged the song made it even more uplifting and inspiring. Thank you so much sir for saying Yes for us to cover this.

So for the Batch 2 of my Sing For Him octet, we bring to you this wonderful church acapella song sung me and some of my dear choir friends in the Madz, Aup Ambassadors, Koro Illustrado and MCS. Thank you everyone for singing this with me. I enjoyed it! May this bless you as much as it has blessed me.

This song is just a reminder for us all to follow his footsteps in good times and in bad. He will never ever leave us nor forsake us.
