The StormFilter is a stormwater treatment device that cleans stormwater through a passive filtration system, effectively removing pollutants from stormwater runoff.

This StormFilter treats runoff from the motorway that runs through the waterfront of St Marys Bay and is one of the busiest stretches of motorway in the country with over 100,000 vehicle movements a day. Using a combination of ZPG the system removes a variety of contaminants including sediment, hydrocarbons and dissolved heavy metals.
