Описание к видео How I built a business that runs on a two-hour workday

When I first started our furniture store, I was grinding 12-hour days. We eventually hit $250K/month — but the real breakthrough came when I built a system that allowed me to work just two hours a day.

It wasn’t luck. It was process. Here’s exactly how I did it — and how you can too:

1. Don’t hire too early.
Before you outsource anything, ask: “Is this task really time-consuming?” If not, doing it yourself is faster. Only hire when your time is better spent elsewhere.

2. Learn before you delegate.
Never hand off a task you don’t fully understand. If you don’t know what “good” looks like, your team won’t either — and you’ll waste time managing confusion.

3. Build systems before hiring people.
Your business should run like a machine. Create clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for every recurring task — step-by-step instructions, examples, and Loom videos. SOPs prevent endless questions and allow your team to work independently.

4. Automate whenever possible.
Before you hire someone, ask if software can do it faster. Zapier and other automation tools saved me hours every day.

5. Hire the right people.
Avoid freelancers and solopreneurs. You want employees — people who seek stability, growth, and contribution, not side gigs or shortcuts.

6. Test before hiring.
We call it the “guitar test.” Just like you wouldn’t hire a guitarist without hearing them play, don’t hire a creative without seeing their work. Pay for a small test task — it’ll reveal who’s reliable, skilled, and detail-oriented.

Once you master these six steps, you’ll start building a company that doesn’t rely on you. That’s when freedom begins.

Because the goal isn’t to escape work — it’s to design it so it fits your life.
