The song is called “Haunted By You.” It’s about the unexpected death of a loved one, and the heaviness/ unreal feeling of it all. “Haunted” is referring to the guilt you have about things you wish you said or did, or things you regret because now it’s too late. It also has the loved one singing to you saying “good bye,” “don’t cry,” and to let go of that guilt because they love you. The last verse is about accepting that death is part of life, coping, moving forward, and carrying on their memories. Also, having faith that they are in heaven and happy, and smiling down on you.
