Hill street Blues Playthrough on piano

Written by prolific and successful TV theme song writer, MIKE POST, (...of Rockford Files) for the 1980's TV Cop series HILL ST BLUES.
It took him only 30 mins to write and when he played it over the phone to series creator Steve Bochco, they both knew they had a hit.

Hill St Blues aired as a Cop TV drama from 1981 - 1987 for a total of 146 episodes. It showed the lives of staff of a single Police station on the fictional HILL STREET, in an unnamed large city with 'BLUES' being the slang name for the Police officers Blue Uniforms.
It received 98 EMMY Nominations during its run and starred, Daniel J. Travanti as Cpt. Frank Furillo and Veronica Hamel as Joyce Davenport to name just a few in this top series.
