Not the weather I was hoping for, but we made the most of it. I was pretty nervous for Loam Rider due to all the roots and what everyone who pre-rode it said it would be like. We did not pre-ride Loam Rider and it seemed that was a mistake.

This was my first enduro race test with the new Gen 6 Slash. The bike felt amazing, I was way less rattled by the end of the stages and it made me feel confident that the bike would handle anything I was willing to try. The pedaling for the climbs wasn’t noticeably different from climbing with the Gen 6 Fuel all last year. NO CHAIN DROP either. I was curious with the mud and poor trail conditions if that would cause any sort of issue and there were none at all. The bike felt amazing, I just needed to ride better.

Overall, I had a great time racing and riding bikes with friends!
