Alex’s presentation, “End of the Second World War” covers the experiences of Australians as the Second World War ground to an end in Europe and the Pacific in 1945. Olivia’s presentation, “‘Boy, we sure did some walking’: Australian soldier experiences in the Malayan Emergency, 1955–1960” focuses on the Australian experience of fighting a counter-insurgency in Malaya.
