Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku II - Any% Speedrun in

After nearly 7 years, the world record for this game has finally been beaten. This run had insanely godlike RNG, and I capitalized off of most of it but sadly made some nearly fatal mistakes at the end. In this game, characters join your party with randomized stats for Strength, Power (Energy Attacks), and Endurance (Defense). Ideally, you want every character to join your party with as high of a strength stat as possible so that your punches deal more damage, ultimately saving time from any segment where you have to fight a lot of enemies or any bosses.

I got extremely high rolls for every character's strength, even getting a maximum roll for Goku's strength with 65 Str. This allowed me to save an extremely large amount of time on a lot of splits, but unfortunately I lost 45 seconds of time before the very end of the run due to dying as Gohan on his level grinding split, and generally having a slow grind. He starts grinding to level 24 from Level 11, so he has very low damage and defense versus level 30 gators on the island. It's one of the most dangerous splits in the game, and since I died once already I tried to be extra safe on my retry to keep my run alive. Thankfully I pulled through, and with some pretty solid Cell Games/Cell Jr. Fights i was able to bring the record down by over a minute.
