Loads of apps will stop working as soon as iOS 11 is released tonight

Apple fans have been reminded to prepare their phones for the arrival of the iOS 11 tonight – because some apps will stop working on it.

If you have an iPhone, you need to update your old apps, such as those used for work or business purposes, on your phones so that they’ll be supported on the new release.
This is because smaller apps are likely to be on 32-bit technology, while iOS 11 will use 64-bit processors to make everything more streamlined.

iPhone users just have to head to their Settings app, choose ‘general’ and then ‘about’, and then click through to ‘applications’ to find those that won’t be compatible without an update. If you can’t click ‘applications’ then you’re phone is fine and you don’t need to do anything...
