Cyclone has announced the upcoming launch of the RT5.

According to available information, this model is packed with features that aim to redefine the definition of a luxury smart scooter.

All the familiar high-end features are present, such as a premium full-color TFT instrument cluster, mobile-connected navigation with screen projection, keyless start, tire pressure monitoring, a dashcam, heated handlebars and seats, dual-channel ABS with TCS, and quad headlights.

Furthermore, some new, less common luxury features include a power front kickstand, a power windshield, and power mirrors. For a 199 kg scooter, the power front kickstand makes parking much easier. The power windshield also makes long-distance riding more comfortable.

This model is clearly positioned for long-distance journeys, with an 18-liter fuel tank and a range of 500 km. Electric mirrors, a first for a scooter, offer adjustable angles for added convenience. The RT5 is powered by the same 247cc XQ310 engine as the RT3, delivering 19.5 kW of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 24.5 Nm of maximum torque at 6,500 rpm.

This model, which has been on the market for many years and spans six generations, remains a proven and reliable model. The RT5 also boasts advanced intelligence. In addition to built-in TBOX remote smart control, it also features a new BSD blind spot monitoring radar that automatically provides a collision warning when a following vehicle approaches within a certain distance, further enhancing safety. Its price is comparable to the similarly priced Kymco S250 (27,980 yuan) and Sanyang Cruise 250 (22,980 yuan).

The significantly more powerful RT5 could cost around 24,000-25,000 yuan.
