flywheel MOVEMENT while pulling the clutch? a DAMAGED big crank bearing is the reason, no it is NOT normal ;)

a PX and COSA clutch recommendation from vespa heart:
DO NOT! use the HARD clutch springs that come with your the tuning clutch! they are on the safe side, which is mostly not needed. use the weakest possible springs. its easier to exchange springs than a crank bearing, isnt it.

the WEAKER the better and the LONGER LIVES your big crank bearing, cause you are pressing directly onto the inner ring with its 8-9 rivet points. SUPER HARD clutch springs, damage this ring and

thats what you see the flywheel moving, when you pull the clutch.
NEW bearing does have ZERO moevement of the flywheel (see that in the end)

recommended clutch spring strength
rotary valve 24-30mm carb tuning with BOX exhaust:
- 210 plug and play tuning: 8-10 original springs
- 210/221 standard tuning: 12-14 original springs
- 210/221 FINE tuning: 8 L springs

- 177/186 tuning a bit less than for 210cc ;)


note: with honda linings raise the spring force for about 30%


how to measure it? u need special tools? no u dont.
to compare different springs simply use your scale at home, push the springs onto the middle of the scale till they are compressed fully.
