Thousands of Palestinian mourners took to the streets on Saturday for the funerals of three youths killed in clashes with Israeli forces.

Four Palestinians were killed on Friday during unrest in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

Two of them were killed in the Strip, the others died in Ramallah and Hebron.

One of the victims buried on Saturday was 12-year-old Muhammad Saleh, who died in the Gaza town of Rafah.

Thousands of people followed his body as it was marched through the streets of the town.

The mourners shouted in anger at Israel and called for revenge.

Saleh was the second Palestinian to be buried in the Strip on Saturday.

In Gaza City, hundreds attended the funeral of another 12-year-old, Medhat Jadallah.

Again, mourners followed the body on the way to the cemetery.

In Ramallah, meanwhile, hundreds of Palestinians participated in the funeral of Yassin Shaidah, age 23.

His body, wrapped in a Palestinian flag, was carried through Ramallah, while mourners chanted anti-Israeli slogans.

The Palestinian cabinet had met late on Friday and called on Israel to find a political solution to the ongoing conflict and to forgo the use of excessive military force.

In a statement, the Palestinians insisted that a military solution was not the proper solution to the conflict and called on the United Nations to intervene and to pressure Israel to implement all U-N resolutions.
