One year ago today, I received that email from HR. After 30 years in the corporate world, it was time to make the biggest decision of my life: do I stay in the comfort of my career, or do I step into the unknown?

In this video, I reflect on my first 12 months since leaving work at age 57. I dive into the "Liminal Space"—that strange, often uncomfortable transition between who you were and who you are becoming. We often focus on the financial spreadsheets (and believe me, I did the math!), but we rarely talk about the emotional and social shift of leaving a lifelong career.
