Pendakian Gunung SEMERU (with GPS track)

Semeru is the highest mountain in Java Island. There are water resources near Kalimati around 30 minutes (Sumbermani).

Camp 1 - Camp 2 :
Flat trail (1 hour)

Camp 2 - Camp 3 :
Flat trail (30 minutes)

Camp 3 - Camp 4 :
Flat trail and Ranu Kumbolo Lake can be seen from above. (1 hour)

Camp 4 – Ranu Kumbolo Lake :
After Camp 4, you will trek down and have to pass through 1 more hill. ( 1 hour)

Ranu Kumbolo Lake – Cemoro Kandang :
Pass through another hill then trek down. (1 hour)

Cemoro Kandang – Jambangan :
Forest and lean trek. (2 hours)

Jambangan – Kalimati :
Flat trail and trek down. (30 minutes)

Kalimati – Arcapada :
Lean trek and dusty. ( 1 hour)

Arcapada –MAHAMERU :
Very very very lean, sandy, and slippery. You are required to use proper hiking shoes and gaitter. (3,5 hours)
