[08-26-21] Rap artist Pointless Effortz performed singles “Aint That Lovely” and “Got Me F***ed Up” at Pass the Mic 3, an artist showcase hosted at Capitol Soundz in Middlesex, New Jersey. Pointless Effortz has a profound respect for lyricists, and says he wants “get that 90s sound into the modern era” and "be respected as a lyricist." The Lefrak City Queens emcee cites J Dilla, Common, Black Thought and 2Pac as some of his musical influences. Owing fellow Queens natives for his motivation for wanting to create music, PointLess Effortz also issued a major shoutout to A Tribe Called Quest. In 2022, Pointless Effortz released his album, “PvP: Game Over (A Story Told in Covid),” a joint effort with producer Primestyle.
