Together is what happens when you take a struggling relationship, toss in some body horror, add a cult, and then fuse it all together—quite literally. Directed by Michael Shanks it stars Dave Franco and Alison Brie as Tim and Millie, a couple whose romance is on life support but instead of getting therapy, they move to the countryside. They’ve clearly grown apart, but neither of them wants to be the one to say it out loud. Attempting to repair the growing distance between them, the couple retreats into nature in search of connection. What begins as a simple hike quickly descends into something disorienting and unsettling. And after an unexpected turn of events, they find their bodies affected in ways that defy explanation—changes that are physical, painful, and deeply unnatural.
