Fiery Gizzard Trail Tennessee | South Cumberland State Park | Foster Falls to Grundy Forest

Описание к видео Fiery Gizzard Trail Tennessee | South Cumberland State Park | Foster Falls to Grundy Forest

I hiked the full Fiery Gizzard Trail in Tennessee's South Cumberland State Park starting at Foster Falls and ending at Grundy Forest. I made this video to give viewers a preview of what the full experience of hiking the trail is like and to help them plan their next hiking or backpacking trip and decide whether or not the Fiery Gizzard Trail in Tennessee is a hike for them. It is rated as one of the Top 25 hikes in North America by Backpacker magazine, and hopefully after watching this video you'll understand why. The variety of terrain and scenery you experience on this brief 13 mile hike is vast. I actually backpacked the trail as I camped out at the Small Wilds Campsite the first night. The next day I hiked past Anderson Falls and bypassed the Dog Hole Trail to the Raven's Point Overlook. I then traversed down into the bottom of the gorge. I then traveled to the popular Sycamore Falls swimming hole and took a swim break there. I then hiked to Blue Hole Falls and traversed the creek since the bridge was out and completed the hike all the way to the Grundy Forest Campground. This is the full legit Fiery Gizzard Trail. Nothing is left out.
