Welcome to my Malice for Quake playthrough! Malice is a total conversion for Quake 1. Some of you may have never heard of this game, and it does have it’s shortcomings, but to me this is pure nostalgia as I used to play this when I was a kid. As usual I move pretty fast and try to show you the most efficient way to beat this game. I don't collect all secrets or go for all kills in every level, just the ones that are in my way. However, I will show you the secret levels and how to access them after the main playthrough. Gameplay feels much like Quake 1, although the game looks very different. There is no armor and there are a few vehicles and gadgets here and there. Also, most of the weapons require reloading, which is unusual for a game of it's time. Navigating the levels can get quite frustrating when you're going through them for the first time, as it isn't always clear what to do or where to go, but that's what these videos are for. There is no difficulty selection so this is played on the normal difficulty.

I'm using the DirectQ engine to run this game.

Level specific notes:

Introductory level where you can try some of Malice's vehicles and gadgets. There are no enemies here so take as much time as you want. Don't forget to enjoy the class-A voice-acting in the cutscene that follows.
