A huge debut hit in 1988 for these good looking London boys with a song paying homage to the many Soul/RnB artists who inspired this genre throughout the years.

The Pasadenas were formed by twins David and Michael Milliner along with Andrew Banfield, Hammish Seelochan and Aaron Brown who began as a dance group called Finesse. The boys renamed themselves to The Pasadenas and signed with Columbia Records who released "Tribute (Right On)" reaching No. 5 in the UK charts.

Later in October 1988 they released their debut album 'To Whom It May Concern' selling more than 1 million copies which included "Tribute (Right On)", "Riding on a Train", "Enchanted Lady" and a version of The Chi-Lites' "Living in the Footsteps of Another Man".

In 1990 they hit the charts once again with their remake of New York City's "I'm Doin' Fine Now" and later the same year with "Love Thing" taken from their second released album 'Elevate'.

The group's final album, Yours Sincerely, was released in 1992.

In 1989, the Pasadenas were part of Band Aid II and in April 2005, the group took part in week three of the UK TV reality show 'Hit Me, Baby, One More Time'.

This track "Tribute (Right On)" still remains a timeless classic capturing the '50s doo wop, '60s Motown and early '70s funk vibe, and is still being played in clubs and radio.
